lost and found

One day, a long time ago, while I was walking with a friend to school in my hometown
we noticed an envelope on the ground and we picked it up.Some negative films were
inside the envelope. So, since  we were very curious art students,
we went into the dark room and developed them straight away.
Could you imagine how amazed we were while the images started to appear...
I'm still wondering who these people were or if they are still alive ,
who lost the envelope and where these pictures were taken...
anyway I still keep them on my bookshelf.

what a great find! It opens so many questions doesn't it? Have you made up any stories about them? Give them names or something like that? I guess it could be a fun thing to do. :)
Good night dear A.*

What a great find, and the top photo - what a place!

It looks like Valle D'Aosta, north west of Italy, but could also be Piemonte.

i have bought old negatives and letters from flea markets. love the stories they tell.

your treasures are beautiful- and you found them!
that second photo could have been taken in Helsinki ;)

I found a bunch of negatives at my grandma and I love to scan some of them sometimes and discover what's happen in front of my eyes, almost like a tiny bit of life...
Once, when I was a teen, I found a full box of old and written postcards... I spent hours to read them with my brothers, it's was a small window on a lost story, a fragile thread...
I still should have some of them around.

Yours and your story are perfect, I imagine your feeling when you found them, and it's nice to share such a poetic adventure with a good friend.
