i love net bags!! what's a baratto?happy weekend:)
Renilde, on medioeval times baratto was very common, the economy (at least in Italy) was based on that, in English it is translated as swap or exchange, but it is more than that is a way of life. At that time money was rare and heavy to carry and made of gold. There are some internet community who do that, here we have free cycle but I'm sure there are many more out there.Baratto was common until Renaissance people invented Banks... My humble opinion is that Medioeval people were really clever and illuminated while "Rinascimento" puritans were not so.
