Do I need a dish washer?
How many hours of my life I spend washing the dishes and why?
Why some people don't do the last rinse? Is it to save time? water or is it just a family tradition?

Doing the dishes...I have good memories of doing the dishes with my mum when i was a kid and we always talked a lot about what I would do when i grow up ;-)
Have a happy week, lots of greetings from the netherlands.
Oh I don't have dish washer and I wish one or I hope one for Christmas :)))
I washed many dishes while my student years and I somehow don't like it anymore. :) Ram and I are both for a dishwasher, it's much much much more important to us than TV for example so I believe we will buy one immediately when we'll have our own kitchen. I hope will have money for it since they say that it's much more ecological; they say that you use less water and in my case it's true... :) But I used to sing a lot when I was doing the dishes so it can be relaxing too...
En tous cas la vue est magnifique depuis ton évier... ! ^^
(On a un lave vaisselle mais je viens de faire la vaisselle à la main aussi, cet engin m'énerve trop !)
In my next home (hopefully reasonably soon) we will have a dishwasher... we both agreed about it.
It is true that is more ecological... Ana, I think we use the same technique of dish washing...not ecological at all I say, but I can't help it.
Séverine, yes the view is really lovely, quite relaxing...
ae, oh I wish you a dishwasher too!
Erika, when I was a kid I loved to do the washing too, it was fun I guess...
Yes nice view from your sink, at least you can daydream when you wash the dishes. I don't have a dishwasher and i really wish i had one!
depuis qu'on a un lave-vaisselle, on s'engueuele beaucoup moins... Mais on a une moins jolie cuisine!
... I have a dish washer, but I love dish washing by hand together with the help of my daughters ... then we tell us from the day, we sing, laugh ... as before at home
I remember my parents washing together the dishes... it was the time they were choosing to discuss important matters!
this looks like my kitchen! we don't have a dishwasher, (something I took for granted when we lived in colorado) but now it's back to basics. (no dishwasher,no microwave, no dryer for the clothes) I guess it's more green, so I'm doing my part for the environment(or at least that's what hubby tells me when I begin asking why don't we have a dishwasher?
Ha! That's funny :) I know what you mean. I used to be very anti-dishwasher. I used to say it was my 'thinking time'... and now I have a machine, I don't want to go back! ;) Kx
I'm a total anti-dishwasher, at least I've never really had to use it! My apt. has a dishwasher and I have a blue/white fabric covering it because it is such a distraction in the kitchen & has no purpose since it's just me and my man washing dishes!! haha :)
