So nice, would love to knit some socks one day. That wool looks beautiful and warm which I imagine you are needing there now! Do you think the 2nd sock will be complete before the end of winter?? Hehehe!
Louise, then I dunno...you can always give it a try, check your local knitting group or the local wool shop and see if there is any good soul nice enough to teach you :)))
Fliss, it's not so cold right now, but since I failed with my previous attempt (the spring socks, because I hadn't followed any pattern) I'm more than eager to finish this one and make many more...hopefully! But I get your point ;)
Oh, great to have a companion. I am, too, knitting socks. I got the knitting needles and yarn for Christmas and would love 2011 to be the year where I learn to knit socks. The first ones might have to be very long ones. I am on my first one and sort of avoiding the heel.

Love the colours of the wool. I've heard they're not easy to do well but you've done very well indeed clever lady! x
That's amazing! I crave hand-knitted socks but I don't think I have the skills. Is it very complicated?
So perfect, wow ! :)
I also love the yarn, it looks very warm.
Thank you ladies...
Louise, not easy, you need at least an intermediate level of knitting and lot of patience.
