Those little people almost look like claymation figures influenced by Nick Parks :^) Happy celebration!

Thank you all.
Janis, in fact Wallace and Gromit should have been present to the ceremony.
I didn't celebrate to be fair, I only watched the whole thing under the point of view of an historical and sociological event (how strangely masses of people react)and to me the first picture it resume the whole feeling , but I have to say that it was good to have a day of positivity and a pause from the daily terrible news and the fact that this country is very much in recession and you get reminded of it every single day also the "frilly side of me" admired the choice of the dress, the trees on the Abbey and the vintage Aston Martin!

I like the first one because I also played in the band of my city and the uniform is the same color!

At first I didn't even think I wanted to watch the royal wedding...I don't know why, perhaps still sadness over the death of Princess Di. But I'm glad I did watch it. It was great seeing all the people coming together for something so positive and beautiful.
And I've always been a big fan of the Union Jack, one of my favorite flags!
