on film

Some photos from the holidays on film or "pellicola"
(I find the Italian word much intriguing).

These are absolutely beautiful! I could gaze at them forever :) You must be so pleased...good to hear you want to shoot more film. Love it! I’m very partial to my Canon AV-1 and the AE-1 is also nice. Lots of people seem to love the Pentax K1000, but I haven’t tried it before....often watch them on Ebay, but they tend to be quite pricey. Hope you’re well x

What is your camera ? you used a fuji superia ? me too. i liked this film but i bought some portra 400 to see...because i saw that Xavier Encinas l'utilise parfois and i love the result...

I'd like to buy another camera as well but a semi-automatique and... it would be a nikon.

Thank you Kerry.
I don't know why I stopped, I guess I was mesmerized by the easiness of the digital. But definitely I'm back on film again. Thank you for the tips, I will start to look around... Most of my friends had Canon back on the day. I will have a look at Pentax too! I'm well tanx : ) Cheers x

Mirabellef, merci dear! I use my first camera which is a very basic and sturdy Yashica FX 2000 Super, I bought it 23 years ago and "she" never let me down! It's completely manual. I used to use Superia a lot in the past I know this film quite well, I like the pastel tinge and the cold hues it has. Thanks for the link.

ah la 'pellicola' a définitivement un charme que le digital n'a pas... et je dis ça sans être anti-digital pour autant ^^

bon dimanche, bises, Alessandra

hello, me again. i was curious about the film (fuji 3400) but couldn't find anything about it - is it a superia 400 or 1600 you used? -- i love the tones!
