glimpses

Every three or four days of heavy rains we see a glimpse of sun.

And on that rare occasion I run in the garden to take a pic
of the white lavender plants.
I have three of them one type is called "Arctic snow" and the
other one is called "Pretty Polly", they smell like lavender
but with a accent of mint. I bought mine during a trip to
Norfolk, you can easily find them in any Lavender catalogue.
A couple of days ago I had a little party with my girlfriends,
it was supposed to be a garden party instead we stayed in because it was raining buckets! (and still is)
I made some "tapas" following some recipes from Moro cookbooks
and non alcoholic fruit cocktail, it was nice.

Thank you Lottie :-)
I made more tapas than the one showed there: queso manchego y membrillo, focaccia, bruschetta etc but the pictures weren't that good!

Only the feeling, this year summer doesn't want to come!

Hello Lois, definitely a good idea, I was thinking of putting edibles flowers or berries + water and make cute ice cubes too.

It is strange about the rain, although I try not to think about it. However, there's no swimming, no enjoying the garden and my legs could easily be called 'arctic snow' as well.

As always, I like everything I see, especially the tapas (which I've never had). Maybe I just need the coockbook and a bit more imagination.

Your lavender looks amazing! Now I'm super curious about the Moro cookbooks. I'm kinda addicted to cookbooks, but I'm not familiar with Moro. Off to check it out.
