A lot happened while randomly crochet this blanket.
/
A hundredandeightyfour hexagons.
Forty+ different colours of 4 ply wool and occasionally DK.
No two hexagons alike.
Made with leftover wool and few odd skeins (purchased on impulse, knowing that one day I'd use them for something).
Crocheted with a 3.25mm hook.
I cannot describe the feeling of actually have finished this project!

I can imagine how happy you are now that you have finished it.
Beautiful!! What a lovely shape it has turned into. Finished just in time for the cooler weather too!

I've been obsessed with hexagons lately (and also pineapples), and seeing your blanket makes me want to do an artwork full of colorful hexagons!
thank you all, I thanked you singularly already but for some reason my comments appear randomly.
so thank you,Magda, Louise, Jolana, mundochiquinino, blue eyed night owl, Nicole, Lotte and Yuko Jones.
Yuko: I studied as a painter then got stuck for quite few years, however, I kept using my crafty skills to exercise form and to keep studying colours, this hex blanket is so, a study of colours more than anything :)
