recently

I've been hand sewing, patch-working and stitching a lot.
I'm also working on a quilt made of fabric scraps, collected in time, inspired by japanese boro.
I will talk more about it, meanwhile you might like to see the process on my instagram or flickr

Have a nice day.

Wonderful colours and texture. I have not had the time to comment much over recent months but I have quietly continued to admire the beautiful things you make. Hope you are well. Un abrazo de Barcelona.

So beautiful, I am a patch worker but haven't found much time recently, you've inspired me to make the time again, thank you.

Was just having a conversation the other day about quilts. How instead of making them out of your scraps collected over time, people just run out and buy the fabric new and ta-dah! you've got yourself a new quilt. Different times. Looking forward to seeing your results! I've been stashing away my scraps too with the intention of turning them into a cozy quilt.

Thank you Denise.
Emma, happy to hear, have fun making your patchwork :).
Michelle, I agree, those were different times. I think it's the very essence of quilting to stash and collect fabric ( or wool to make a blanket), then taking time to hand sew it gives a richer meaning to it. Looking forward to see your cozy quilt.
